Two new guides have just been posted in the Tutorials and Guides section. One of them is a serial cable guide which shows you how to make a USB to serial cable form a cell phone data cable. The other guide is just a general guide showing how to actually connect to the Fonera after you have made your serial cable. It also has pictures of the serial pinouts for the Fonera 2100 and 2200.

Meltyblood has released an updated version of the Legend Pre4.5 firmware which can be found here:

Here's Meltyblood's response to what has changed:
I need to fix the webif (directly patched, the
webif developers made more changes and they conflicted with mine). I
updated the applications and it is running the equivalent of 7.09
Kamikaze. The latest MDK 3 was installed as well with the rest of the
apps.
However, do not get too attached as the details will change as the firmware is updated. He says another revision may be posted later on tonight or tomorrow, depending on your time zone.

I have 15 Fonera invites to give away. These invites will allow you to purchase a Fonera for $5.99 instead of the usual $39.99. With shipping it comes out to a little under $11 total, not a bad deal.
I will give one invite to the first 15 people that do the following:
- Register for the forums
- Make at least one thread and one reply
- No meaningless threads or posts. E.g. do not post "I like that guide."
- Send a private message to "prochobo" with the email address you'd like the invite sent to and also don't forget to include what country you're from.
An update will be posted once all invites have been given away.
